CONNECTION TIP: Service Trend Advisor

CONNECTION is an online parts catalogue and stand-alone ordering system for automotive parts sales. With CONNECTION you can check inventory and place an online order directly from your ACDelco parts supplier.

Service Trend Advisor is an additional part type selection feature that provides you with the ability to quickly access the top 40 replaced parts for the vehicle you have specified.

WHI logs over 200 million part inquiries annually, this provides detailed insight to what parts are failing on vehicles over time and by geography. On screen you will see up to the Top 40 parts that are failing on a vehicle in the last six months in your area.

Access to Service Trend Advisor
Once a vehicle is selected you can access the “Service Trend Advisor”

The number in front of the part type is the “ranking” value for that part. The lower numbered Part Types represent the most frequent parts ordered/replaced for the selected vehicle.

Service Trend Advisor Navigation
Service Trend Advisor offers two screen display options: “Ranking Order” and “Category”.
  • “Ranking Order” displays the Part Types organized from 1 to 40.
  • Category displays the part types organized by Subgroup to provide you with the ability to see any common areas of the selected vehicle that are failing.

Use the “Sort By” drop down box to toggle between these options.
