Our 1-800 Technical Assistance Centre (TAC) handles inquiries on all makes and models. Experts use diagnostic resource material and validated fixes in our data base to support proper diagnosis and repair of today’s complicated vehicles.

Training

Instructor-led Training

As part of the Total Service Support program, members have access to classroom instruction that includes lectures, on-vehicle or mock-up board simulations with real-world concerns and hands-on activities. ACDelco service training utilizes over 45 years' experience to prepare technicians to effectively diagnose today's vehicles. By providing the specialized training and diagnostic skills needed, technicians will be able to effectively diagnose and repair not just yesterday's but tomorrow's vehicles.

ACDelco eLearning

ACDelco offers technicians the ability to train any time of day. Technicians can securely log in for online training, selecting the courses they want at a time that’s convenient.
There are two types of online training offered – OnDemand and Web Based Training.

OnDemand Training

This online training offers technicians high quality instructor-led videotaped training covering Diagnostic, Product Knowledge and Business Management areas, with new training added each week. Our OnDemand training area has over 400 hours of training available. Technicians can log in, take the training, and even test their knowledge with our training course exams.

Web Based Training

This self-paced program is designed to appeal to a broad range of learning styles. Courses include 28 Training Modules, 14 Self Study Courses, 2 Simulation Programs and an additional 81 Tech Assist Programs.

CARSability

CARSability is a cost-effective, easy to use web based skills assessment tool designed to identify training gaps for participants in 34 automotive related occupations, including:

• Collision Damage Repair
• Fuel and Electrical Technician
• Service Manager
• Parts Sales Consultant
• Customer Relations Specialist

CARSability provides immediate and accurate assessments of the true skill levels of all personnel and is a terrific business support tool for repair facility owners/managers.
